Thank you

It was good to see so many of our members at the meeting, thank you to everyone who came to see us. We appreciated the chance to present our results from the past year, and share our thoughts on the year ahead.

We received so many good questions from members, on a wide range of topics. If you submitted a question online about a personal situation, one of our team will contact you as soon as possible.

What some of our members had to say

Mr Richard Diehm, a current LGIAsuper member, attended with an open mind. Hoping to learn something new to help him make the most of his super:

“I actually discovered there were some areas of my super that were lacking, but now I have the correct information and forms needed to get on top of my super.”

Another member, Ms Trish Quirk, who retired two years ago appreciated the insight into LGIAsuper's investment philosophy:

"A superannuation fund becomes your only nest egg. So it's very important to me, to understand how it's invested."

Chief Executive Officer Kate Farrar presents at the Annual Members Meeting 2019

LGIAsuper CEO Kate Farrar said the AMM was a fantastic concept because it gave the fund a chance to explain in detail to members how it was looking after their retirement savings.

“Our members trust us with one of their most significant assets, so maintaining our integrity and transparency is extremely important.”

“I am also incredibly proud of what our fund has achieved for members over the last 12 months and the AMM provided an ideal platform to showcase some of these efforts."
