Cowboys game goes off with a bang!

game 2 wrap up

Despite the wet conditions on Thursday night, we had many dedicated fans visit the LGIAsuper Community Hub to grab their ‘bang sticks’ and cheer on the Cowboys.

This round we shared the Community Hub with Cystic Fibrosis Queensland, a not-for-profit charity that provides a range of support services to Queenslanders and families affected by cystic fibrosis. You can make a difference to this worthy cause today by donating through their website.  Our Community Hub reflects the Cowboys and LGIAsuper’s commitment to assisting charities and local community organisations by providing them a platform to generate awareness and support.

We donated game tickets this round to fans from Happy Feat, who braved the weather to watch the Cowboys beat the Roosters in an impressive 40-0 win. They also had the opportunity to meet former Rugby League star Brent Tate! Happy Feat Inc. is a great organisation that helps break down barriers for people with disabilities by providing a fun environment for them and highlighting their abilities.

It was great to meet everyone signing up to the Howdy Club for the first time and with 2 out of 2 home games now won, we look forward to seeing lots of familiar faces return to the Hub in the future!

If you missed out on signing up to the Howdy Club to receive your free Howdy Hat, don’t worry. We’ll be at the LGIAsuper Community Hub every home game to give out merchandise. We hope to see you there on Saturday 2 April when the Cowboys take on the Dragons.
