Since joining LGIAsuper six weeks ago, I’ve been working with the team to better understand our business and our customers. I feel very fortunate to have stepped into the role of CEO at such an exciting time for the fund – and I have David Todd and the Executive team to thank for that.
Under David’s leadership, funds under management at LGIAsuper have grown from $3 billion in 2006 to over $11 billion. As Chief Investment Officer, David will continue to play a vital role in the growth of our fund.
We have also introduced an industry-leading administration platform to allow faster processing and increased efficiency across the business. It’s an initiative that will benefit LGIAsuper members and employers for years to come.
LGIAsuper’s members-first approach was recently acknowledged at the Conexus Financial Superannuation Awards when we won the award for Australia’s best medium super fund. But we’re not resting on our laurels.
Looking after your retirement savings is a responsibility we take very seriously. With trust being a major talking point in the financial services industry, we will continue to do so.
